From Southwestern Michigan (Grand Rapids)
Take US 131 North toward Cadillac. Take Exit 180 and turn right onto M-55 East. Follow M-55 East until stop sign. Turn Left onto M-66/M-55/South Morey Road. Follow for approximately 5.1 miles turning right onto West Houghton Lake Road/M-55. Continue for approximately 18 miles. Turn Left onto US-127 North toward Grayling. Merge onto I-75 North and follow for approximately 32.2 miles. Take Exit 282 and turn right onto M-32 toward Gaylord and Alpena. Follow M-32 for approximately 48 miles until you arrive in Hillman, MI. Once you reach Hillman, Thunder Bay Resort is located on your left just East of town.
From South Central Michigan (Lansing)
Take US-127 North toward Grayling. Merge onto I-75 North and follow for approximately 32.2 miles. Take Exit 282 and turn right onto M-32 toward Gaylord and Alpena. Follow M-32 for approximately 48 miles until you arrive in Hillman, MI. Once you reach Hillman, Thunder Bay Resort is located on your left just East of town.
From Southeastern Michigan (Detroit)
Take I-75 North. Merge onto M-33 via Exit 202 toward Alger/Rose City/Mio. Turn left onto North Abbe Road/M-33 and continue to follow M-33 for approximately 19.5 miles. Turn right onto M-32/Niergarth Road. Follow M-32 for approximately 10 miles. After passing Hillman via M-32, Thunder Bay Resort is just East of town.
From Northern Michigan (Mackinaw City)
Follw I-75 South. Take Exit 310 and turn left onto M-68 toward Rogers City/Petoskey. Follow M-68 for approximately 19.1 miles until you turn right onto Michigan Ave/M-33. Continue to follow M-33 for approximately 18.6 miles. Turn left onto Country Road 624. Country Road turns into CR-624. Turn right onto CR-459 and follow for approximately 3 miles. Turn Right onto State Street and follow thru town. Turn left at light on top of the hill onto Veteran’s Memorial Highway. Follow Veteran’s and turn left onto M-32. After Turning onto M-32, Thunder Bay Resort is approximately .1 miles on left.
